The school clinic at Emirates American School is a facility designed to provide basic medical care and preventive services like immunization programs and health education, as mandated by the Ministry of Health (MOH). The medical team consists of a School Doctor and two Nurses who efficiently manage the clinic daily.
Our American school in Sharjah has two clinics—one for boys and one for girls—each equipped with an attached washroom and two isolation rooms. Both clinics also feature a room for medical waste storage and disposal (Wakaya).
The clinics are well-equipped with designated areas for health services, including a waiting area, consultation and treatment spaces, and an observation room. Additionally, a handicapped-accessible restroom with railings is available.
Comprehensive and accurate medical records are kept for each student, and the clinics are stocked with the necessary medical equipment, supplies, and pharmacological agents to provide both basic and emergency services.
